INTERNSHIP PHASE- II (WEEK-8) 31-07-2023 - 04-08-2023

 Weekly Reflection (week-8)

Day- 32 ( 31-07-2023)

I  reached the school at 9:30AM and reported to Principal office and signed the register. The students gathered at the ground at 9:15AM for general assembly. After the assembly the class started at 9:30 AM. I had no class but I got substitution  in 9th (second and third period). I had already informed the 9C to bring the text book and note book as I missed out the class on Saturday due to PSC exam. I taught 'Transportation in plants'. I prepared video and images as teaching aids. I planned to teach according to a new model that is Inductive Thinking Model. As the chapter reached the conclusion the students were so happy. They seem to be pay more attentive, while using the activities. I could completye the whole chapter within the time limit. During the lunch break I went to the food corner and served food to the children. We left the school at 3:40PM

Day -33 (01-08-2023)

I reached the school at 9:00AM and reported to Principal office and signed the register. The students gathered at the ground at 9:15AM for general assembly. After the assembly the class started at 9:30 AM.As per the timetable I had class in9C on second period. I gave the rating scale tool to the students as part of the project topic. Then during the lunch break I went to the food corner and served food to the children. During the free hours I collected some information for my Project. We left the school at 3:45PM.

Day - 34 (02-08-2023)

I reached the school at 9:00AM and reported to Principal office and signed the register. The day started with the usual morning prayer. As per the timetable I had class in 9C(fourth period)and I got substitution in 9C( fifth period). Today I was planned to give the revision on the unit 'Simple nutrients into the cells'. I corrected the notebook. I understood revision is stepping back while gives a thorough looking to see how well they studied and how well they understood. Moreover revision class is more helpful for the absentees.

Day-35 (03-08-2023)

Today I  reached the school at 8:45AM and repported to Principal office and signed the register.The students gathered at the ground at 9:15AM for general assembly. After the assembly the class started at 9:30AM. As per thetimetable I have class on 9C (fifth period). After the lunch break there was no classes for 9th as the students went for Malayalam story writing competition .Our teaching practice is almost have come to an end. Each day is a new day. Each day makes teaching more and more interesting. After the National anthem we left the school at 3:50PM

Day-36 (04-08- 2023)

Today was the final day of our Phase -II  internship programme. As usual we reached the school at 9:00AM and signed our attendance. We met our concerned teachers and Principal to sign our records and attendance register. As it was our last day of teaching practice we bought some sweets and gave the sweets to the students and teachers as a token of love. We took them for their immense support and co-operation which in turn helped us to successfully complete our phase-II journey. With lots of good memories and experiences ,we left the school at 2:30PM.
